Joyce Blowers

Joyce has been quilting for over 40 years, with 35 years dedicated to machine quilting, and she started longarm quilting around 20 years ago. She is a dealer for Nolting Longarm and Quiltmagine automation and is a retired IntelliQuilter dealer.

While she enjoys all aspects of quilt making, her true passion lies in making automation fulfill her creative visions. Joyce loves teaching students about the features, functions, and techniques of automation, helping them maximize its potential.

An award-winning quilter, Joyce has been teaching automation for about ten years, conducting classes in various locations across the US, including Alaska. She has written two books: "Guide to Quilting with Nolting" and "Basics and Beyond with Nolting."

Joyce's classes are interactive, hands-on, and engaging. As a retired high school science teacher, she believes that hands-on learning enhances understanding and retention, often using the automation tablet or practicing techniques on a panel. Her goal is for students to leave class with knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to advance in their automation journey.
